IRS extends 2019 payment deadline

Treasury Secretary Mnuchin announced that the agency is giving taxpayers an additional 90 days to pay for those owing up to $1 million in taxes.

The new payment deadline is July 15th, 2020. This means that anyone who owe a balance on their 2019 tax return has until July 15th to pay it without incurring any interest or penalties.

See 03/21 post for updated information.
